The Self-Trust Reset Playbook
A self-paced way to begin rebuilding trust in your own decisions.
This Playbook is for women who are capable—but don’t feel settled inside their own decisions.
What you’ll find here are practical, self-paced ways to begin working with self-doubt instead of fighting it. You can do this work on your own—but it moves more slowly without reflection, mirroring, and shared language. If you ever want to accelerate this process, the Untrapped Self-Trust Program exists for that reason.
There’s no rush.
This is about rebuilding trust, not forcing confidence.
WHAT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING
When you don’t trust yourself, it’s rarely because you lack judgment.
More often, it’s because your nervous system learned that:
deciding alone wasn’t safe
certainty needed permission
being wrong had consequences
So your system adapted by slowing you down.
Self-doubt isn’t the enemy here.
It’s information.
WHEN SELF-DOUBT ACTIVATES
Pay attention to timing, not just thoughts.
Self-doubt tends to show up:
right after you decide
when someone important has an opinion
when the stakes feel relational, not logical
when choosing yourself risks disappointment
That’s your cue that this is about safety, not intelligence.
A SELF-PACED PRACTICE
This is not a mindset shift.
It’s a pattern interruption.
The Decision Debrief (Solo Version)
After a decision—big or small—write responses to these four prompts:
What did I choose?
What did my body feel before I chose?
What was I most afraid would happen?
What part of me was trying to stay safe?
That’s it.
No fixing.
No reframing.
No “right answer.”
Over time, this practice rebuilds trust by:
making your internal signals visible
separating fear from intuition
proving to your system that it can survive choice
This works—but slowly—because you’re doing it alone.
WHY DOING IT SOLO THIS TAKES TIME
When you work alone:
you only see what you can already see
blind spots stay blind longer
reassurance has to come from inside
That’s not a flaw.
It’s just reality.
Change happens faster in community because:
patterns get mirrored
language gets reinforced
safety gets co-regulated
That’s why my program exists.
If this Playbook helped you notice something important, stay with it.
If you find yourself wanting:
reflection instead of rumination
support instead of self-managing
momentum without self-abandonment
The Untrapped Self-Trust Program is where this work happens together.
Honor your yes.
Honor your no.
Honor your timing.
You’re practicing self-trust either way.
