First, You’re Not Broken. You’re Conditioned.

Most of us were taught—directly or indirectly—that it’s safer to defer.

  • Safer to wait for someone else to co-sign our choices.

  • Safer to double-check, triple-check, second-guess ourselves.

  • Safer to follow someone else’s formula.

But safety and alignment aren’t always the same. The more you rely on outside validation, the more you erode your self-trust muscle because your decision-making reflex gets dulled by constant outsourcing.
